Positive actions

Karen and Danya came by this morning on their way to Las Vegas. Danya had lent me her book she takes to interviews to read. It was interesting to see how much more is required from new teachers. They called later to say they had arrived there. This afternoon Russ and I went to our Stake Conference and I managed to stay all the way through it, and I was glad I went. Our favorite Sunday School teacher is now on the stake board, and we hate to lose him. But he spoke today at the Conference, so that was good. At home again we worked together to fix our dinner, and it worked out well. We had our dessert as usual on Sunday, but to prevent eating sweets during the week, I threw away all left-over candy that was in in the refrigerator!
