A different Sunday.
We went to all three meetings at church, and all were good. One thing, though, the babies in the first and last meetings were too noisy. I don't know why the mothers don't take them out.
Karen had invited us to dinner, so we had just a light lunch, and then we read in the book she had loaned us, on the New Testament. Then the Bishop, our Home Teacher came for a visit.
About 2 p.m. Karen called, saying that she was taking Margie Rempel to the Scripps' Hospital in Ensenitas. She called later and canceled dinner; the tests on Margie weren't all done yet. She called again to say Margie was having an emergency apendectomy, and she, Karen, was coming home; Margie didn't want her to stay. She'll go back in the morning to see how she is.
We talked to our other daughters, and everything is OK with them.
