I need light reading!

This morning I had my hair fixed again, and Russ, or Chris, as he likes to be called, got some milk and a few other things. While I was there, I started reading a Si Fi book from our shelves. When I got home, I read some more, and I still wonder if it's worth trying to read. It's 10,000 years in the future, and there's an ice age, and all the land and people names are new. It's like when I tried to read "War and Peace" the first few times. (I finally finished it years later.) But this book is only about 250 pages, so I may finish it next week. We talked to all three daughters today, and all are fine. Kendra Gillian called, and they are having trouble again.
