A nice interlude at the the beach.

Today started out warm, with sunshine. We were to meet Karen at the beach for lunch, and we were to bring the drinks. It worked out as planned, and Karen came with tamales and cantaloupe , and we had brought potato chips. I was the only person among the summer crowd that had a jacket, and I soon took it off. We enjoyed the lunch and the day, and being with Karen. Later the sun was covered by clouds, but when we got home the sun was still out. We had enough of the outside, so we stayed inside. I did the week's washing, and Chris decided to re-do the filing cabinet. It's a job, and I offered to help, but I didn't do much good. It may take a while.
