Our visit with Gloria Saltzman

Karen called this morning to say that she was with Margie Rempel, and she was doing well. About 10a.m. Gloria Saltzman, our friend from our days in Tracy, came to visit. we talked until noon, and then we went to the Olive Garden for lunch. We got back about 2, and talked some more until 4, when she left to go back to relatives she has in San Diego. Her mother, Elizabeth, died this spring, and Gloria is sort of at loose ends, trying to decide whether to stay in Tracy, or go somewhere else. Her brothers, Richard and Lenard, live in that general area, so she may not go far away. When we lived in Tracy there were only 8,000 people there; now, 56 years later, there are 80,000!
