A quiet day, but nice.

We went to the Kaiser Pharmacy in Carlsbad this morning to pick up a prescription, and then we drove to Tamarack Beach and sat in the car and watched the waves for a while. There was a cloud cover over the sun, but the waves were high. After watching a while we drove to a Wal-Mart store and bought a new lampshade and also a new floor lamp, and then came home. Russ is still fighting the results of the predisone, so we didn't stay away long. After lunch he rested and slept a little while watching TV. Tonight we'll watch a movie on TV, and get to bed early.
