Things are look up.

The fog did come in, and the moisture and lack of wind really helped the firefighters. The Rice fire that was burning in Fallbrook never did get to the Long's house, so they were able pack up their things and go home just before noon today. I was getting a perm, so I wasn't here when they left. But we had said our goodbye's before I left. When I got home, we had our lunch, and then we read the paper and rested. We are alone again, until Kaye arrives. She has postponed her trip two weeks, so the air will be better and the hot weather will have gone. I think that is a good idea. Our grand nephew, Gabe Harris called, and he is at Camp Pendleton for a few weeks. We will see him next week.
