Things are looking up.

The main thing that we did today was to go to the Kaiser Clinic in Carlsbad and get Russ' blood test and then our flu shots for this year. There was no big lineup this time, there were only two people ahead of us. It was over in a few minutes. We stopped at Wal-Mart and got my eye ointment, and at Boney's grocery we got fresh vegetables. We came home, and the then the gardener came and did his blow-and-go routine. I wish we had a more thorough man, so Russ wouldn't have to do the pruning and special treatments, or I could do it. I've never been a gardener, but maybe I can learn. Kaye sent a new cell phone to replace the one I lost and then found. This new one is much better. I'll finish up the minutes on my old one, and when Kaye comes down I'll learn to use the new one.
