This morning Russ' fever was gone, and he insisted on going to the store. I went along, to be company. At home again we had lunch, and I got ready and made my first batch of candy for Christmas . Karen brought over two pans of potatoes to keep warm in our oven, for the Relief Society dinner tonight. The committee had made six pans, and couldn't keep them all warm at the Church. Karen and the R.S. president baked chicken for the main meat dish and there were also salad, rolls, punch and dessert. Karen came back about 6 p.m. and picked up the potatoes, and me, and we went back to the Church for the R.S. Christmas dinner and program. It was very nice, and we all took home as favors small Nativity scenes.
