It rained a little during the night, then the sun came out for a while. It never did get warm, so I stayed in the house. We went over our receipts in preparation for income tax. After lunch I did my best to stay awake, but it didn't work. I missed a call from Kaye and one from Charles and Mabel. I called both of them back later. Charles is still singing with the Southern Calif. Mormon Choir, but fortunately he has rides to the rehearsals and doesn't have to drive those freeways at night. Kaye got our birthday gift for Kyle, a book he wants, so that's taken care of. This evening I plan to read in a book Karen loaned me, "The Vineyard" by Barbara Delinsky. That reminds me, Kaye told me that her friend Patricia Briggs is again on the New York Times Best Seller list, this time as No. 1!
