The busiest day in a long time.
This morning I was going to visit Nancy Barnhart with Karen, but she locked her keys in her car. So Chris drove the 2 of us, first to Ruth Schoppe's house to deliver some recordings, and then to Ross Co. where Karen's car was. By the time we got there, AAA had sent a man out who opened Karen's car. Then she and I went to Nancy's. we didn't stay long, she has a bad cold and cough, so we made it a short visit.
Then we met Chris at Carl's Jr. for lunch. After the lunch he and I drove to Boney's for green groceries, and then to visit Ona Willets. At home again I finished reading "Rebekah" by Orson Scott Card. He really makes the women of the Old Testament seem creditable.
After our supper we watched part of "To Kill a Mocking Bird". We'll finish it tomorrow. It's kind of depressing so far, and is in black and white instead of color, and that may account for it.
I'm much better now, but I'm quite tired tonight; maybe I've done too much today. We talked to Kaye, and she was enjoying revisiting places in San Francisco.
