A lazy day.

I thought about writing the blog this morning, but I had nothing to write about. So, I waited until tonight. There's still not much to tell you. Roy came and did the cleaning, and after he left we had lunch. Then Elaine Schuman called to see if she could visit this afternoon. Of course we said yes. She came and brought cookies she'd baked. She is diabetic and can't eat them, but she says she bakes them for other people! That's great that she'd do it. I'm afraid that under similar circumstances, I would eat some anyway. After she left I found her purse on the sofa, so I called her and said I'd bring it over. But she was going to a movie with a friend, and said she would pick it up later. And she did. It was nice to see her both times. We did water and fertilize the orchids this morning, and that was about all the useful activity we did today.
