On Saturday
My usual hair dresser is away having surgery, so I had a new girl do my hair today. After I was done, I called Karen, and she said we wouldn't go until about 2 to visit Nancy Barnhart. So Chris and I went to Burger King for a big fish sandwich. We missed having our weekly fish during the week.
Later Karen and I went to Nancy's, and she is now 91, but still making quilts by hand for all her relatives' babies. She ties, instead of hand quilting them for other people. It's amazing to me; I don't even sew anymore. Her daughter, Jean, who lives with her, gave us each two avocados when we left. Jean does a great job keeping up the house and yard for her mother.
Tonight we started watching another CD, this one on the book "Hawaii." I don't remember the book with much enthusiasm.

Your "I don't remember the book with much enthusiasm." is way too kind. I hated the book and movie, but at least the movie has waves....
