Christmas Eve

This morning we did some last-minute shopping, and then we went to take the gifts to Russ's, or Chris's, Home-teaching widows. One recently had a heart attack and was asleep,her daughter told us, the next was out shopping, and the third was home, and we had a short visit. On the way home we picked up to-go lunch at Burger King, and I went shopping at Mervin's, which is going out of business. It was crowded with people, and the things left didn't look good, so I left. At home again Karen, Danya and Candace came over for a short visit. After they left we had our lunch. Then we watched TV and rested a while. Tonight I wrapped the few presents I had to give at Karen's tomorrow when we go over for Christmas dinner with the families there, and Uncle Al. Then we heard the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sing on TV, which was our program for Christmas Eve.
