We didn't do much; I answered Christmas cards and Chris (Russ) transplanted some of the amaryllis from the pots to the back yard evergreen beds. I don't know why, but I guess he thought they would do better there. Then the gardener came over and put plant killer on the weeds that quickly sprang up after the rain of the last few days, among the colored gravel we have instead of lawn. I prepared dinner, and Brittany joined us eating the salad which Karen and Danya had made for Christmas dinner; I mean, I had made again, with the same sort of ingredients.
