Since it is Monday the cleaning woman would come, so we left early and went to breakfast. She was still two or three apartments away, we knew we had plenty of time. In fact, we came back and picked up our newspaper and took it downstairs to read in the lobby. Then, since we weren't sure our rooms would be done yet, we went outside and sat in the car to finish the paper. Chris went to sleep in the car, and I got out and sat on a bench and talked to another resident here. She is only 86, but she said she has great, great grand-children! I couldn't believe it, but then I realized maybe she was a little confused, and only thought that. But she had married when she was 16, so maybe that was right.
After Chris woke up after a 25-minute nap, we went for a walk down Laguna to the next street and back. By then it was time for lunch, so we went back inside for that.
We thought about going down to the beach with the bus that was going, but I got busy reading and Chris was working at the computer, so we missed it. We'll try again next time the bus goes. It's time we got into more of the activities around here. Besides, we have to go back to the Kaiser Clinic this week for another blood pressure check. I guess they don't think my records of it are right. Maybe they are not. We'll see. Anyway, we can walk along the beach after when we go to the Clinic.
