Chris had another nose bleed in the night, and he finally hit the emergency cord early in the morning, and an aide came by. She looked at the mess in the bathroom and called the nurse to come. The nurse brought gauze to plug his nose, since klenex wasn't doing it. The gauze works pretty well. Later I went to the dining room and brought breakfast back. Just as we finished it, one of the cleanup crew came up and cleaned up the bathroom. We had to give up the trip to Downey for Mabel's birthday. But we will see her and Charles later in the month. We stayed in the apartment, and Karen came over for a while to visit. We talked about going to the Kaiser Clinic for a blood test, but instead we called the coumidin clinic, and they said to wait until Chris' visit to the eye doctor in San Diego on Jan. 5. Then we are to call them again, after getting a blood test there. I went to the dining room and brought back lunch for us, and later for dinner, since Chris was still dripping a little. It has been a quiet day, but he should have a better day tomorrow.
