Last night Chris had a short episode, where he couldn't move out of a chair he was sitting in. He got over it quickly, so we didn't think too much of it. However, I woke up three times in the night, to check out his breathing. It was OK. But because of his episode, he was tired, and I went to breakfast alone, and brought his back to the apartment. He ate it all and felt better. He went to work on the computer, and I read the paper and dozed a little, until time for lunch. We both went to lunch, and it was a good one. We came back to the apartment and he dozed a little, and I wrote three Christmas cards and then rested, too. We had a good dinner tonight, and then talked half an hour to Kaye. She told us about Caden's being better and playing with his toys; and then we talked about Kaye's new house. She was out there most of the day, but had lunch with Kyle and then went back to the house. She helped the workers by showing them the plans she had, so they would do the plumbing right for the fixtures that she and the builder had decided on. And she arranged for the skylights she wants. She is so happy about the house; I am, too, because the old house isn't good enough for her to live in. We are invited to a birthday party for Mabel on the 30th of Dec. and we want to go. I hope Karen will be here to drive us up there. We had been counting on seeing Charles and Mabel before Christmas, but this would be a good alternative.
