This day has been a little screwed up for me. Friday Dr. Groesbeck's office called, to say they had a cancellation of an appointment for Cataract surgery Tuesday, and I could come in then. We couldn't get Karen to ask her if she could drive us to Escondido then instead of our former date Dec. 16. We couldn't get her in time to call back and say yes, I would come, so we had to wait until this morning to call back. When we did, the girl said that was fine, but she didn't know when I should be there. We waited around the rest of the morning, but it was afternoon before she called back, to say it would be 10 o'clock tomorrow. We cleared that with Karen, so we are set for that. The girl did say I was to take the three eye medications every 2 hours today. I have done that, between trips to the dining room for three meals, and downstairs to meet Karen, who came to deliver the 3ft. Christmas tree I had talked about getting. (She had found one, and asked if she shoud get it for us, of course we said yes.) She also brought 3 Religious tapes we had wanted. It has rained all day, and more is forecast - I hope not for tomorrow. The wind is up, too. I will go now and watch the evening news, to see if there will be more wind and rain for our trip tomorrow.
