Today we went to breakfast as usual, and then we came back to the apartment and read the paper. Chris didn't want to go to the more advanced exercise class, so I went alone. I overdid myself, and I've been exhausted all day since. From now on, it's the milder exercise for me, too! Karen invited us to go to lunch down at the beach, so we got sandwiches and drinks from the dining room here, and she picked us up about 12. She found a good place to park along the shore above the beach near Tamarack St., where we like to go. We enjoyed it, it was a beautiful day, and the waves high. We saw lots of people out walking with their dogs, and that was fun to watch, too. When we got back here, I sat down and went to sleep for an hour. I was rested, and ready to watch the computer screen when Stellan called that he would show us Caden. But it didn't work out, because Caden had something to eat and fell asleep right afterwards. Stellan said he would call again, when Caden wakes up, so we are waiting for that. Karen hasn't heard any more about the house she wants to buy in Orroyo Grande. These short sales are a long time to come to the end, it seems. She is still counting on it, though. I hope it turns out the way she wants. That means a lot of changes for her and Terry, and also for us, because we agreed to go, too. I looked at the booklet she brought us about the senior housing she found up there, and we could fit into one, I think. r
