First of all today, Carla called last night to tell us they were back in Oregon. We appreciated it, and also talking to the other two daughters. These are important connections for us. Kaye is at Writers' Group tonight, but she called before the meeting started. Karen told us she has a tour to lead at GIA tomorrow, but she will be done in time to come to the Irish dinner with us tomorrow.
Today we did the usual three meals, and I went to the Gentle Yoga exercise class. Chris didn't go because his right shoulder is still hurting, and he thinks that exercise is not good for it. I wanted to make an appointment with our doctor, but he didn't want that. We will see what happens in the next few days. If it doesn't improve, I will make a doctor's appointment for him.
I have finished reading the DMV booklet for people taking a drivers license test, but I couldn't get an appointment to take the eye and written test until next month. By then my license will have expired, and I will have to take a driving test, too. I talked to someone at lunch who said he was in the same boat, but he drove to Escondido, and took the test over there. He passed, and didn't have to take a driving test.
Uncle Al has been in the hospital, and we didn't know in time to visit him. He is back in his apartment now, and seems to be better. I'll have to ask Chris what Al said about it; they are talking right now, so I'll have to wait a while. I give up, I'll tell about Al in tomorrow's blog.
