I have started to read Patricia Briggs' last book, again, so I can remember what happened in the last "Mercy" book, so I will be ready to read the new one that is coming out very soon. I'll read fast, so I'll be done, before the new one is on the book shelves. It's hard to believe they could be written by such a sweet looking woman! I met her only once, but during the next hour in her presence I got to know she is a normal woman and mother to her children. Today was like almost all days here, three meals in the dining room, and then exercise class, then not much else at least as far as we went. Back to the apartment, and then we did manage to go for a short walk down to the next corner and then back. On the way back we met our neighbor from across the street, Diane Vordeckers, a friend from our church. Her husband has been estranged from the church for some time, like Terry, but maybe he will come back. It doesn't seem that Terry will, though. And that is sad. We talked to all three daughters yesterday, but today only Kaye called, but it's only 6 p.m. and there's plenty of time yet tonight. Carla and Rex are still enjoying Hawaii I'm sure, and Kaye did call, to tell us she had sent pictures. We did get a cute one of Caden, but that was all. Maybe we just didn't look on the right place on the computer. I meant to get the washing done today, but I forgot all about it until we got back here after dinner. It's too late to start tonight, I'll write myself a note to do it tomorrow!
