In yesterday's blog I forgot to say that I had my hair done by the lady in the shop here. She charges a little more, but then I don't have to go somewhere else to have it done. Now for today, we didn't go anywhere or do anything very exciting. It was three meals here, a walk around the block, and I forgot to go to the exercise class! Oh well, there's always another time for that. The water to the toilet in the extra room has been leaking, and today the men finally got here to fix it. There has been a puddle in there for a couple of days. But they finally got it done this afternoon. Today I have been trying to shine up my fingernails, but it is a hopeless job. I'll just have to put some polish on them before going to Church tomorrow. Then I'll have to take it off later to go with my new red dress, my birthday present from my dear husband. I'll just have to find the right shade of red in a new polish, next time we go to a store that sells it. It was rather sad in the dining room tonight, a friend of most of the people, a doctor, who has lived here quite a while, passed away this morning. He will be missed. Some days we sat at the same table, but usually he was at the next one toward the center of the dining room.
