We had our breakfast as usual, and then we went downstairs to read the paper. The workman who usually delivers a paper to our apartment is on vacation, and I guess the other man who does it now doesn't do it for us. Anyway, we went to the mild Yoga class and then came back upstairs, and our granddaughter Danya called, and she said that she and her mother' Karen, are coming over here to pick us up to go down to the beach for a picnic lunch. We were of course glad to go, and to get a chance to visit with Danya. She will be here only a few days, before going back to Porterville, where she teaches school. They are on spring break now, so she came down to visit her mother, Karen ,and also to see us. She teaches disadvantaged children, and she had some interesting stories to tell us about a trip to the mountains that included two of her pupils. She went along, to make sure they would would be OK, and they were. After lunch Danya went to our dentist; she doesn't like the one available in Porterville, who wants to do a lot of work in her mouth, that she doesn't feel is necessary. After Karen and Danya left, we went for a walk down Laguna to Jefferson St. and back. I think if we do that every day it's not raining, I should get my strength back. I also walk the building B 3rd floor corridors every night before going to bed.
