We moved our clocks ahead last night, but it was hard to get up this morning. We did, though, and got ready to go to church. First of all, we went to breakfast, and then went downstairs and read the paper. We came back here, and I read the lesson for Sunday School, just in case Chris would want to stay at church that long. He was napping, but it wasn't enough to get him through any more meetings after the Sacrament Meeting. While we were there, our home teacher, the former Bishop, made an appointment to see us later in the afternoon.
When we got back here we went to lunch, and then came back here. Karen had said she might come over, but instead she and Terry went to a movie, after calling us to tell us.
Our home teacher came over about 3:30 and brought cookies. He stayed about an hour, and then we watched TV a while, and then I napped, until it was too late for dinner here . We did look into the dining room, but there was no one there, so we came back here and rounded up some things. But then the Maitre D came to the apartment, bringing two sandwiches for us! She had seen us at the door of the dining room, and so she got sandwiches and brought them to us. That was really sweet of her. We were acquainted, anyway, because her husband had to have blood transfusions when I did, and we have kept in touch.
I just talked to Kaye, and discussed the family. And she is thinking about a wall bed for her extra room in the new house, so she can use the room for other things and yet have a guest room when they have guests. Some of the people here have them, and it seems like a good idea where space is limited.
