I wrote today's blog, but somehow it disappeared. So here goes again. Last night we skyped with Carla and Rex, and it was nice to be able to see and talk to them, although we are so far away. We hope to go up to see them, and also to see Kaye and Kyle in their new house, sometime this summer. Karen told us today that she is feeling better, and will drive us to San Diego for Chris to see his eye doctor. We left here at 9:30, and drove on a clear sunny day, with the wild flowers blooming along the way, because of our recent rains. The traffic was fast, about 60 to 65 miles per hour, so we got there an hour early. We stopped for sodas, and took them with us to Vandever Clinic, since we were still about 30 minutes early. But they called Chris early, and I went in with him, because he said if I didn't, and the doctor gave him a shot in his eye, he would swear at him. But he didn't need the shot, so all went well. On the way home we stopped for lunch, and we still got back here about 2 p.m. Karen went home for a nap, and we napped here almost until time for dinner. We did go to dinner, and then came back to the apartment to watch the news on TV, and then a program on the universe, from Nova. The original blog was a little longer than this one, but I can't remember what I wrote, so I'll just close here. And if the original blog turns up, I will save it instead of this one.
