We have gone through our usual day. We did try to go for a walk, but the wind was so cold that we just walked around the buildings here. The meals were about as usual, so we were mostly waiting to hear from our daughters. Karen did call when they reached New York yesterday, and then today she sent an e-mail to say they were at the airport in New York, and were just ready to board their plane for Europe. They will be 15 hours on the way, so I guess we can't hope to hear from them until they reach Athens. We talked to Carla briefly. She and Rex are in Utah for Logan's graduation and Meret's extended degree. She said all went well, except that Meret got sick just after she received her degree. We just talked to Carla again, and Meret is feeling better. We talked to Kaye, and she spent the day shopping. She said the painters in their new house got paint all over the hardwood floors, and the workmen had to refinish them today. That is a real mess. They must not have been good painters. My legs have been bothering me again. I guess I'll have to get more medication from the doctor to put on them to ease the pain. Chris has to pick up some medications, so I can call the doctor and get mine, too, when we go down there.
