We were up and almost ready to go to breakfast, when Karen called, It was a brief call, just to tell us they were in Athens. It's great that they were still able to go, even though that volcano is still erupting in Iceland. It did take them 15 hours for the trip from New York. We went to breakfast happy that they had arrived OK. Now we can relax and not worry for a while. We talked to Kaye briefly after our lunch. We didn't talk long because she hadn't had her lunch, and it was after 1 p.m. I had the new book she had sent me, so after talking to her, I started reading it, and I read until it was time to go to dinner. But we did go for a short walk around the buildings before going to the dining room. There we sat at a table with a Chinese couple we have made friends with, and we had our dinner, and then we talked quite a while, until it was time to close the dining room at 7p.m. I thought about reading some more in Kaye's book, but there are TV shows that we watch on Saturday nights, so we will do that instead of reading or doing more on our blogs tonight. These are British shows, that we have watched over the years, and sometimes they are repeats, but we enjoy them anyway.
