When I wrote yesterday's blog, I forgot the main thing I did, and that was the washing. I didn't want it to pile up to be two weeks' worth instead of one. I read in Pattie's book while the clothes washed. Now I can hardly wait to get it read, to find out what really happens to Samuel. Maybe tomorrow I'll finish it. Today is the first day of General Conference of the Church, and we found we can watch it on the computer. We saw two hours of it this morning, and two more this afternoon. Tomorrow will be the same schedule, and we can watch it before and after the Easter Luncheon that is being served 11 to 2. We have invited Karen and Terry to come, for the lunch, and she sounded today much better, so she will probably come. Terry has never come to a meal here, but there are plenty of diabetics here, so I'm sure he will be able to find food he can eat. We went for a walk this afternoon, and in spite of the sunshine there was cold wind blowing. So we just went around the block, hoping the houses would shield us from the wind. But we were glad to get back to the apartment. I just sneezed writing about it, so you can tell I got cold. I'll be glad when the warmer weather comes, and we can go for longer walks. Chris just learned about a new treatment for M.S., and I hope it turns out to help people. They are trying it on 100 people at first, to see if it really helps. It seems to be something to do with gene therapy. That would be wonderful if it really works!
