Roy came to clean the house today. Russ watered and fertilized the gardenia plant, and I put the washing on. Thank goodness it takes mostly care of itself. Karen came over but didn't stay long. She had left Candace and family home. Danya called from Tustin about 1p.m. to say they had car trouble and called the auto club. A policeman came by, and escorted them to the garage, and they had lunch while the people tested the car. They couldn't find anything wrong, and it started, so they came on down here with no more trouble. Karen came over again to visit with us and Danya and Matt, and she brought materials for our dinner. We ate it, and then Karen left. Later Matt and Danya couldn't find a movie they hadn't seen in our collection, so they went out to El Camino Plaza to see one. We folded the laundry, and now are writing, and then we'll read a while and go to bed.
