Things are going well.

The pictures of Caden are great! We have played them over and over. And of course we were glad to know that you had arrived in Seattle, Kaye and Kyle. We always wonder about that pass over the mountains, and we are concerned until we know you are there OK. Today we did go to see the apartment available at Villas of Carlsbad. It was all right, except it was on the free-way side of the buildings, which we don't want. Anyway, we want to wait a while before going in there. It's a matter of getting rid of things, and of the cost of the places. We'll see. Anyway, I had my questions answered, and I measured the places I had forgotten. Karen came with us, but she didn't go see the apartment, because her knee is still bothering her. She goes to see the doctor about it on Dec. 30.
