This morning while I was down in the lobby reading the paper (We don't take it anymore), Karen sent an e-mail from some city in Greece saying she was recovering from the jet-lag she had, and will be able to enjoy the rest of the trip. I'm glad she and Terry were able to take this trip; his disease may make other long trips like this out of the question. I don't know how fast it progresses, but it does, in spite of all they do about it. We talked briefly to Kaye, and she was going to go over to their new house with the builder, to check it out and see if everything is as she wants it. It sounds as though they are getting close to moving, doesn't it. She had talked to Stellan, and he has a job in the tri-cities area now, so he will be able to take care of his son and the mother. I can't remember her name just now. My brain is deteriorating faster than I thought it would. That is not a good feeling, but I guess it comes with my age. I'll just have to live with it. This afternoon we went to the Kaiser Clinic and Pharmacy to pick up medications for Chris, but for some reason they weren't ready when they were supposed to be. So, we came back without them. But since we were down by the beach, we stopped at Tamarack. We found out that the new $2 an hour fee doesn't apply to seniors in the senior parking places, so I guess we will go there more often. We both like to walk along the seawall. There was a cool wind, so we didn't go far.
